“We are ever ready to help you succeed”, GNPC Board assures Ga Mantse during a visit to the Palace
The board of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) has assured the Ga Mantse, King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II, of its unwavering support in his efforts to lead the Ga State.
Led by Chairman Hon. Freddie Blay, the GNPC board, accompanied by members of the management team, visited the King at his palace on Monday, July 1, 2024. The visit aimed to extend well wishes, introduce the Corporation's newly appointed CEO, Mr. Joseph Dadzie, and further solidify a strong partnership.
Hon. Blay commended the King for his tireless work in promoting unity within the Ga State, stating, "We appreciate what you have been doing. We are here to thank you for being a symbol of unity and for bringing all traditional heads together, making it easier for us to operate in your community just like other communities."
The GNPC board chairman also informed the Ga Mantse of the Corporation's readiness to support his sanitation campaign to rid the national capital of filth. Hon. Blay pledged the Corporation's assistance in making this vision a reality.
Ogyeahoho Yaw Gyebi II, President of the National House of Chiefs and a GNPC board member, expressed his appreciation for the King's efforts in fostering peace and harmony in the Ga State. He reiterated GNPC's commitment to working closely with the King to maintain peace and promote development in his Kingdom.
Joseph Dadzie, CEO of GNPC, emphasized the Corporation's dedication to national development. "At GNPC, we see ourselves as a medium for national development, and traditional leaders across the country are our partners," he affirmed. "Especially since our head office is in the Greater Accra, it was important we came here to introduce ourselves and pay homage to you." Mr. Dadzie assured the Ga Mantse of GNPC's collaborative approach with all the Chiefs in the Ga State.
King Tackie Teiko Tsuru II expressed deep gratitude for the visit and support from GNPC. He highlighted several challenges facing the Ga State and sought the Corporation's assistance in addressing them. The King emphasized his unwavering dedication to making the Ga State a welcoming and prosperous place for all its inhabitants.
