GNPC, Deloitte Strengthen Partnership and Explore Growth Opportunities
Executives from Deloitte, led by its Africa CEO Ruwayda Redfearn, met with the management of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC) to strengthen their partnership and explore strategic growth opportunities in the energy sector.
The meeting focused on GNPC's current performance and how Deloitte's expertise can contribute to driving further growth, particularly in light of the global shift towards new energy sources and the evolving international business landscape.
The discussions highlighted GNPC's keen interest in engaging with Asian markets, particularly China, which has become a significant trade partner for Africa, especially in manufacturing. GNPC CEO Joseph Dadzie emphasized, "China is very flexible in adopting the way Africa does business compared to others. They are currently Africa's biggest trade partner, so we are keen on doing business with them to explore options in the energy sector."
The Deloitte delegation, which included Africa Growth Leader Nina Le Riche Trail, Ghana's Country Managing Partner Daniel Owusu, and Associate Director Dorcas Sekum, visited GNPC's headquarters in Tema and pledged their support, offering expertise to help GNPC navigate industry challenges and promote sustainable development.
