GNPC CEO Invited to join Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital's Centenary Celebration

The Chief Executive Officer of Korle-Bu Teaching Hospital, Dr. Opoku Ware Ampomah, has extended an invitation to Joseph Dadzie, CEO of the Ghana National Petroleum Corporation (GNPC), to participate in the hospital's ongoing centenary celebrations.

Korle-Bu, celebrating its 100th anniversary on October 9, 2023, has embarked on a series of activities under the theme "Hundred Years of Leadership in Quality Healthcare Delivery Through Training, Research, Innovation, and Partnership."

Dr. Ampomah, during a meeting with Mr. Dadzie at GNPC's Petroleum House, highlighted the longstanding and cordial relationship between the two institutions, specifically citing the construction of the hospital's burns centre by GNPC as a testament to their shared commitment to healthcare advancement.

"GNPC has played a vital role in supporting Korle-Bu's mission to provide high-quality healthcare to Ghanaians," Dr. Ampomah stated. "GNPC’s contributions have had a lasting impact on our ability to serve the Nation, and we want to celebrate this partnership with you as we commemorate our centenary."

Mr. Dadzie, in response, gladly accepted the invitation, reaffirming GNPC's dedication to supporting the hospital and enhancing the well-being of Ghanaians. He expressed the Corporation's willingness to continue working collaboratively with Korle-Bu to advance healthcare delivery in the country.
